Getting to photograph a couple for their maternity session is so special and sweet, but getting to see them the next month or so to meet their newborn baby is such a wonderful experience for me. Seeing the transformation when they become parents and documenting these precious moments is what makes this job so rewarding. I know that these times aren’t easy, but they are full of love and so beautiful, and the images we create will be cherished for many years to come.
Here are a few images of their parent and baby shots that I loved the most.... These classic color and black and white images are my favorite. When a couple chooses my silver package they are able to have these beautiful timeless shots taken of them and their baby during their tiniest stage and nothing, I mean nothing, beats that!
Mom chose soft pinks and I feel when a tiny baby girl comes into my studio and moms love pink, florals are a MUST!
Next, I was given the opportunity to photograph a special image for dad. He is a state trooper and what better way to photograph baby commemorating her daddy and his profession... Take a look!
How gorgeous! I literally have all the heart eyes for this baby girl... She was so sweet and everything about her session made my heart happy.
Every once in a while I'll have the opportunity to have a grandparent arrive. They are so proud of their own baby and what life they have brought into this world. It's such a pleasure to be able to capture a moment of them with their newest member. This momma had her mom arrive toward the end of our session and we felt it was only necessary to get a few shots with grandma as well...
I can't wait to see what 2022 brings to the studio and what beautiful families I am able to connect with... stay tuned!
